I want to say 71 but the phone system in the photo is throwing me off. I thought rotory phones were the thing then.
1971 is correct. Rotary phones had just bitten the dust, but we had no "phone system," and I think it went to touch tone. In any case, that's my room: the gadgets behind my cousin are a clock radio and what I recall as a cassette player. There was no phone in my room.
Get your eyes checked. That's a BOOK, not a cassette player.
I had a yellow rotary phone in my room (leftover from downstairs, had to dig a whole in wall to run wires through and hook it up myself) in the 80s and I love all those songs! (just kidding, actually).
